How Lvxor handles data when you visit this site — what we collect, on what basis, and how to switch it off at any time.

Who is responsible
This website is operated by CARSKI TRG d.o.o., Ulica slobode 46, 21000 Split, Croatia, company ID (OIB) 37616159103, registration number 2026406, trading as Café & Restaurant Lvxor at Kraj Sv. Ivana 11, 21000 Split.
For any privacy question, write to lvxor@lvxor.hr or call +385 21 341 082.
What we collect through this site
There are no forms on this site, no newsletter sign-up, no accounts and no basket. We never ask for your name, email address or phone number, and there is nowhere to enter them.
What we do measure, with your consent, is how the site is used and how well our advertising performs — through Google Analytics, Google Ads and Meta. All of it is described below, and all of it can be refused, at any time and without consequence.
Separately, and regardless of consent, we measure loading speed and count visits with tools that set no cookies and create no identifier that follows you. They are described below too.
Cookies and your consent
Without your consent the site sets two cookies, both necessary for it to work: NEXT_LOCALE, which remembers the language you chose, and lvxor_consent, which remembers this very choice so we do not have to ask on every visit. Neither holds personal data.
Only if you agree do the analytics cookies (Google Analytics) and advertising cookies (Google Ads, Meta) become active. If you refuse, they are not set — the site works exactly the same.
You can change or fully withdraw your choice at any time: the “Cookie settings” link sits in the footer of every page. Withdrawing consent is as easy as giving it.
Google Consent Mode
The tools we use are loaded through Google Tag Manager and governed by Google's Consent Mode v2. It is configured so that all measurement is off until you decide — at that point Google and Meta receive only a basic signal, with no cookies and no identifiers.
Your choice is passed to those tools the moment you confirm it, and remembered until you change it.
Analytics (Google Analytics 4)
With your consent we use Google Analytics 4. It records which pages you open, from what device and browser, which country you came from and how you reached us. We use it to see what interests visitors and what on the site does not work.
We make no attempt to establish who you are. The IP address is truncated and not stored, and we read the reports only in aggregate.
The service is provided by Google Ireland Limited, Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Ireland, with a possible transfer of data to the United States under the EU-US Data Privacy Framework. The legal basis is your consent (Article 6(1)(a) GDPR).
Advertising (Google Ads and Meta)
We advertise on Google and on Meta (Facebook and Instagram). With your consent the Google Ads tag and the Meta Pixel are active on this site, showing us whether a visit came from an ad and whether it led to a reservation or a call.
We also use Meta's Conversions API: when you click through to reserve or tap our phone number, our own server tells Meta about it directly. That message carries your IP address, browser information and the identifiers from Meta's cookies — the same data Meta would receive from your browser anyway, simply by a more reliable route. Even then we send no name, email or phone number, because we do not have them.
This data may be used to show our ads to people who have already visited the site and to find similar audiences. The controllers are Google Ireland Limited and Meta Platforms Ireland Limited, Merrion Road, Dublin 4, Ireland, with a possible transfer to the United States. The legal basis is your consent (Article 6(1)(a) GDPR).
Page speed measurement
We use Vercel Speed Insights, which measures how quickly the site loads for real visitors. It records loading times, the address of the page opened, and coarse technical details such as device type, browser and connection quality.
It sets no cookies, stores nothing in your browser, counts no visitors and links no measurement to a person. No consent is therefore required for it.
The data is processed on our behalf by Vercel Inc., who also host this site. The legal basis is our legitimate interest in keeping the site fast and working properly (Article 6(1)(f) GDPR).
Visit counting (Vercel Web Analytics)
We use Vercel Web Analytics, which counts visits and page views. It records the address of the page opened, the page you arrived from, and coarse technical details such as device type, browser and country.
It sets no cookies and stores nothing in your browser. To tell visitors apart within a single day, Vercel computes a one-way hash from the request itself and discards it after 24 hours — no identifier is created that follows you over time or to other sites. No consent is therefore required for it, just as for the speed measurement.
The data is processed on our behalf by Vercel Inc., who also host this site. The legal basis is our legitimate interest in knowing how much the site is read (Article 6(1)(f) GDPR). Unlike Google Analytics, which counts only visitors who have consented, this counting covers every visit — but holds nothing that could identify you.
Server logs
The site is hosted by Vercel Inc. Like any web server, Vercel records technical details of each request: IP address, time, the address requested and the browser type. These logs exist only to run and protect the site, and we do not link them to any individual.
The legal basis is our legitimate interest in keeping the site running and secure (Article 6(1)(f) GDPR).
The Google map on the Contact page
The Contact page embeds a Google map. When that page loads, your browser connects directly to Google's servers, which therefore see your IP address and may set their own cookies. We have no control over that and receive no data from Google in return.
We use the map so you can find us. If you would rather avoid it, simply don't open that page — every other page loads without a single third-party embed.
Reservations via OpenTable
Bookings do not happen on this site. The "Book Now" button takes you to OpenTable, where you enter your details. OpenTable is the controller for that processing under its own privacy policy; we receive only the booking information needed to seat you.
You can also book by phone, in which case we note only a name and a party size, and only until you arrive.
Links to other sites
This site links to OpenTable, Instagram, Facebook and Google Maps. Following a link takes you off our site, and from that point those services' privacy terms apply. We are not responsible for their content or how they handle data.
Your rights
Under the General Data Protection Regulation you have the right of access to your data, and rights to rectification, erasure, restriction of processing, data portability and objection to processing.
Where processing rests on your consent, you may withdraw it at any time, as easily as you gave it — through the “Cookie settings” link in the footer. Withdrawal does not affect the lawfulness of processing carried out before it.
If you believe we are not handling your data properly, you can contact us at the email address above or lodge a complaint with the Croatian Personal Data Protection Agency (AZOP), Selska cesta 136, 10000 Zagreb.
Changes to this policy
If we add anything that changes how data is handled — analytics or an enquiry form, for instance — we will update this policy and change the date at the top.
